Is it safe to delete Arc cache?

Web pages, images and scripts that Arc saved so websites load faster.

Safe

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

~/Library/Caches/Arc

What it is

Arc is built on Chromium, which keeps its web cache in the Caches folder under the same name as the browser's data folder in Application Support. Arc downloads anything it needs again, so your spaces, pinned tabs, passwords and history aren't affected.

If it's removed

Websites load more slowly the first time you visit them again, while the browser downloads their content again. You stay signed in to websites, and your bookmarks, history and passwords aren't affected.

How it's removed

Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it. Quit Arc first.

PRO

The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
