Is it safe to delete Final Cut Pro libraries?
A Final Cut Pro library: your events and projects, media copied into it, and render, optimized and proxy files.

What it is
Final Cut Pro keeps each library as a single package. Besides your projects and any media you copied into it, a library holds the render files and the optimized and proxy media that Final Cut Pro generates, which accumulate over time as you edit. Generated files can be deleted in Final Cut Pro and created again from the original media. Change a library only in Final Cut Pro: changing files inside it in the Finder can damage it.
If it's removed
Original media and projects aren't affected. Final Cut Pro renders again as you play and export, which takes time, and optimized or proxy media must be created again before you can use it.
What to do instead
In Final Cut Pro, select the library in the Libraries sidebar, then choose File > Delete Generated Library Files. Select Delete Render Files and choose unused or all render files, select Delete Optimized Media or Delete Proxy Media if you don't need them, then click OK.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it, with these steps. The app doesn't remove it for you.
