Is it safe to delete Homebrew logs?
Logs that Homebrew writes when it builds and installs packages, in one folder for each package.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.
~/
What it is
Homebrew saves the output of package builds and installations here so a failed install can be investigated. Its regular cleanup removes older logs on its own. Installed software doesn't need these logs to work.
If it's removed
Logs of earlier installs are no longer available if you need to investigate one.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
