Is it safe to delete Jan models?

What it is
Jan keeps local models in its data folder: one folder for models run with llama.cpp and one for MLX models, with a folder for each model holding its weights and settings. Models are large and stay until you delete them. Your chats, assistants and settings are stored elsewhere in Jan's data folder and aren't part of this item.
If it's removed
Deleted models can be downloaded again from Jan's Hub. Imported models need to be imported again.
What to do instead
In Jan, open Settings, choose Llama.cpp or MLX, and delete models in the Models section. Delete All removes every model Jan downloaded but leaves models you imported.
