Is it safe to delete Simulator logs?
Log files that the simulator service and the Simulator app write while simulators run.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.
~/
What it is
CoreSimulator and the Simulator app record their activity here, with a separate folder of logs for each simulator you've started. The logs are only used to investigate problems, and new ones are written as you keep using simulators.
If it's removed
Earlier simulator logs are no longer available for troubleshooting.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
