Is it safe to delete Slack cache?
Web content, compiled scripts and graphics data that the Slack app caches so it opens faster.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

What it is
The Slack desktop app is built on web technology and keeps a web cache, a code cache, a GPU cache and its service worker cache in these folders. Slack downloads what it needs again from its servers, and your messages, files and settings stay in your workspace. The Mac App Store version keeps the same folders inside its container.
If it's removed
Slack takes longer to open the first time while it downloads its content again. You stay signed in.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it. Quit Slack first.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
