Is it safe to delete Android Studio logs?

Log files Android Studio writes while it runs, in one folder for each version.

Safe

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

~/Library/Logs/Google/AndroidStudio*

What it is

Android Studio records what it does in idea.log and related files here, which helps when you report a problem. It starts new logs as it runs, so nothing you made is lost. Folders for versions you no longer use stay behind.

If it's removed

Past logs are gone, so they can't be attached to a bug report.

How it's removed

Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it. Quit Android Studio first.

PRO

The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
