Is it safe to delete Colima download cache?
Disk images and other files Colima has downloaded, kept so it doesn't download them again.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.
~/
What it is
Colima saves the virtual machine images and other assets it downloads here, so creating or updating a machine doesn't need to download them again. Existing virtual machines keep their own disks. Colima downloads these files again when it next needs them.
If it's removed
The next time Colima creates or updates a virtual machine, it downloads the files it needs again.
How it's removed
Colima's own cleanup command (colima prune --force), run by the app.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
