Is it safe to delete JetBrains IDE logs?

Log files written by JetBrains IDEs and the Toolbox App, in one folder per IDE version.

Safe

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

~/Library/Logs/JetBrains

What it is

Each JetBrains IDE writes its logs to a folder here named after the IDE and version, such as IntelliJIdea2026.2, and the Toolbox App keeps its logs here too. They help when you report a problem to JetBrains. The IDEs start new logs as they run, and a new major version removes the log folders of versions that haven't been updated in 180 days.

If it's removed

Past logs are gone, so they can't be attached to a support request.

How it's removed

Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it. Quit JetBrains IDEs first.

PRO

The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
