Is it safe to delete Selenium Manager drivers and browsers?

Browser drivers and browsers that Selenium Manager downloads automatically when your Selenium tests need them.

Safe

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

~/.cache/selenium/{chrome,chromedriver,edge,firefox,geckodriver,msedgedriver}

What it is

Selenium Manager, which is built into Selenium, finds or downloads the right driver, such as chromedriver or geckodriver, and a browser when needed, and caches them here in one folder per version. It downloads anything missing again the next time a test runs, and removes versions that haven't been used for 30 days. Your optional se-config.toml settings file in the same folder isn't included.

If it's removed

The next test run downloads the drivers and browsers it needs again, which takes longer and needs an internet connection.

How it's removed

Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.

PRO

The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
