Is it safe to delete Unified log?
The log where macOS and apps record most of their messages, stored in a compressed format that the Console app reads.
Managed by macOS
macOS manages it. It's never moved to the Trash.

What it is
Apps and macOS record most log messages in the unified log instead of text files. macOS stores it in /private/var/db/diagnostics, with supporting data in /private/var/db/uuidtext, and the logd service keeps it to a steady size by removing the oldest entries as new ones arrive.
If it's removed
Removing it loses the log history used for troubleshooting. macOS keeps its size in check without help.
What to do instead
Leave it to macOS. The logging system limits its size and removes old entries on its own.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. The app never removes it.
