Is it safe to delete Box Drive folder?

It can be recreated, but it takes a download, a reinstall or the tool's own command.

What it is
Box Drive keeps your Box folder here and shows it as Box under Locations in Finder. Folders you keep offline are downloaded in full and take up space on this Mac; other files are downloaded when you open them. Deleting a file here deletes it from Box too, so free up the offline copy instead.
If it's removed
Files download again when you open them, which needs an internet connection. They stay in Box.
What to do instead
In Finder, open Box, Control-click offline folders you don't need on this Mac, and choose Free up space.
