Is it safe to delete Kotlin/Native compiler and dependencies?
The Kotlin/Native compiler and the components it downloads when you build Kotlin Multiplatform projects for Apple platforms and other native targets.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.
~/
What it is
When you build a project with Kotlin/Native targets, such as a Kotlin Multiplatform app for iPhone, Kotlin/Native downloads the components it needs into this folder and caches some results of its work, so later builds are faster. If the folder is missing, the next build creates it again from scratch.
If it's removed
The next Kotlin/Native build downloads the compiler and its components again and is slower, and it needs a network connection.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
