Is it safe to delete Maven Wrapper distributions?
Copies of Maven that the Maven Wrapper downloads, one for each Maven version your projects use.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.
~/
What it is
Projects that include the Maven Wrapper name the Maven version they need, and the wrapper downloads that version into this folder the first time it runs. It downloads a version again whenever a project needs it and it's missing. Versions that no project uses anymore stay until they're removed.
If it's removed
The next build of each project that uses the wrapper downloads its Maven version again, which takes time and a network connection.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
