Is it safe to delete nvm download cache?
Node.js downloads nvm keeps after it installs a version.

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

What it is
When nvm installs a Node.js version, it downloads the release into this folder and keeps it after the installation is done. Installed versions don't depend on it, and nvm has its own option to empty it. nvm downloads a version again if you reinstall it.
If it's removed
Reinstalling a Node.js version downloads it again.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.
