Is it safe to delete mise cache?
Information that mise, a tool version manager, keeps to work faster, such as the versions available for each tool.

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

What it is
mise caches data such as lists of available tool versions and the results of tasks here. It's separate from the tools you installed, which stay in place when the cache is cleared. mise fetches or computes the information again when it needs it.
If it's removed
The next mise commands may be slower while it fetches version lists again, and tasks whose results were cached run again.
How it's removed
mise's own cleanup command (mise cache clear), run by the app.
