Is it safe to delete Poetry cache?
Package information and downloaded files that Poetry keeps to make installs faster.
Safe
Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.
~/
What it is
Poetry saves package information from repositories such as PyPI in the cache folder, and the package files it downloads in the artifacts folder. It reuses them when you install the same versions again in any project, and downloads anything it needs again. The virtual environments Poetry creates are in a separate folder next to these.
If it's removed
The next installs download package information and files again, so they take longer and need an internet connection.
How it's removed
Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.
The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
