Is it safe to delete Swift Package Manager cache?

Package repositories, manifests and binaries that Swift Package Manager keeps so packages aren't downloaded again for every project.

Safe

Its owner recreates it by itself when it needs it, and nothing you made is lost.

~/Library/Caches/org.swift.swiftpm

What it is

Swift Package Manager, including the package support in Xcode, keeps a shared copy of each package repository your projects depend on, along with cached package manifests and downloaded binaries. It downloads them again when a project needs them. Your package settings, such as mirrors, registries and package collections, are stored elsewhere and aren't affected.

If it's removed

The next time each project resolves its packages, they're downloaded again, which takes longer and needs a network connection.

How it's removed

Moved to the Trash, where you can restore it.

PRO

The free analyzer finds it and explains it. Removing it is Pro, after a review sheet that lists every move and command. It starts checked in the Cleanup checklist, except inside Documents or Desktop.
